I will be going through Jackson, TN and Memphis, TN tomorrow on a road trip. I need to buy some dry ice to keep some processed chickens cold that we are delivering for a friend.

Is there anywhere in West Tennessee or maybe Arkansas that I can buy dry ice? Walmart in Jackson said they do not sell it and Airgas and Nexair in Jackson are closed on Saturdays. :(

Anybody have any bright ideas?

What age do you have to be to buy dry ice and why? We used to get the stuff all the time from liquor stores and grocery stores when we were teens. Now we frequently used it to blow up Sobe bottles or drop in people's pools for a party, maybe that's it, maybe my generation ruined it for everyone?

As stated above, Publix has it too. I know a couple of blocks of dry ice, a towel, and some regular ice on top will keep cold stuff cold for a whole weekend in nothing more than a standard 50qt. Coleman cooler. The regular ice stayed totally frozen for at least the first 48 hours.
