Got a new pup

He got a 6 week old puppy yesterday. We're pretty sure he's a Belgian Malinois mix. We're still trying to decide on a name but leaning towards Gunner. We've been wanting another dog since we got the house so that our Husky would have a bud to play with. Being that he has either Shepherd or Malinois in him we're hoping

Strangest thing though, he has 6 toes on each back foot.

He's a great looking pup.  Looks like he's got lots of personality.

Just be sure and take lots of pics as he grows up.

Good looking pup, Erik. God made them cute so you wouldn't kill them for chewing everything you own.....and everything the neighbor owns. I love dogs.

Congratulations.... Love the new puppy... They are, indeed, one of God's greatest creations....

Think about this name to celebrate his possible (...most likely ta me at least...) Teutonic heritage:   "Balthizar" (....Balt..thi.a.zr....)...

"Balthizar"  wuz the first name (...i think...) of the gunner for the greatest german tank commander ever; Michael Whitman ...killed in the hedgerows of Normandy...... Whitman and Balthizar fought on the Eastern Front and probably killed more commies in a day than most folks have ever seen...They were the ultimate 'anti communists"...Somethin we could certainly use more of here in this country today....

If ya look at old german history stuff, it seems "Balthizar" wuz (...and still may be...) and old and honored german first name... "Balthizar" is also an accepted name for one of the three wize men that came to see the Baby Jesus...

Now i think that would be a very fitting name for that great "possibly germanic" pup ya have got there... Oh, by the way, i also like "Otto"....

Well, anyway, enough foolishnes... I really like the pup!!!

Cute pup, looks like an instant friendship with your other pup too. Can't beat that.
