From about Murphy Road to the downtown loop, you might, but the rest ain't too bad.

It's a little rough close to downtown(inside 440) after dark(around centennial hospital / Nashville red cross), but gets better the further out from town you get IMO.

It's a mixed bag through there. That is right by White Bridge Road... Transitional area.

As with most locations, if you are going about legal business in normal waking hours, you have to work to get into trouble most of the time. If you are operating after normal waking hours.... well, it gets easier to find trouble no matter where you are.

... And no, you won't need an AR. If it helps, you would be 1/8th mile from the local precinct HQ. almost literally across the street.

5700 Charlotte Pike is not the best part of town but I guess it depends on what you're needing to do around there. I wouldn't spend the night in the area if it was me. The good news is the West Police Precinct is at 5500 Charlotte Pike so if you have trouble it won't take the police as long to get there.

The precinct used to be further west from downtown but I guess they needed to be closer to the action.

The further west you go the better it gets.

I always like riding that route. Sometimes all the way from Dickson (70 becomes Charlotte Pike). It's always interesting the variation once you've crossed the interstate. I've never felt askeered.

If you are working in Belle Meade, you might want to consider Bellevue and taking 70 in in the mornings. It also depends which direction you're coming from.

Never mind, decided it was safer to stay at the airport. Only 13 min from the job site. Already got my room booked. And best of all I saw deer the last time I was over that side, packing my hunting permit and crossbow. :D

Yea, I just spent 3 days on nolensville pike. Guy told me it was 2 blocks from ms13 territory. But the crime wgere I'm working tomorrow and Thursday seems to be alot higher. I keep a 45 on me and a 40 in my pocket so I'm not worried about while I'm working. But wanted to sleep some place fairly safe.

That's not a particularly special price around Nashville.

If you mean losing the money, any hotel should refund if you cancel early enough.

If it's only a couple of days, might not be worth fussing about too much.

Its only tomorrow night. Im going back home Thursday after I get done. I might have to come back Monday but won't have to stay the night.

Yeah that part is pretty rough...  Lots of check cashing stores and pawn shops...  during the day you'd be safe enough, at night or on one of the back streets?  No way I'd be there unarmed.

5701 charlotte pike. Just off i40.
