Looking for a range

First off im sorry if this is in the wrong place. I am looking for a rifle range near Memphis up to 1 1/2 hours away. The only things i can find around here are private ranges that i cant afford a membership at right now. Id like to find something around 200yds if possible.

State hunter education ranges are an affordable place to go target shooting.

Maybe there is a place in here that is close enuff

This was discussed at length in a thread a couple months back. It was titled "Where to shoot an AK in the Memphis area" or something like that. The basic answer is other than MSSA there really isn't much. I would like to join MSSA but don't shoot enough to justify the cost. There is a place in Brighton, TN called Brighton Arms that has an indoor range. They'll let you shoot anything up to 3200 fps (I think) and it can't be steel core. It's a good place. That's where I shoot my 308. But you say you're looking for somewhere at 200 yards, and this place is indoors so that might not work. If you find another place let me know 'cause I don't know where else to go.

I don't know of any.

We are lucky enough to have land not far from here to shoot when we want to.

I wished we had a rifle range here. I hate they god rid of the one out at Shelby Farms.

there's The Great Outdoors store in Jackson. $15 an hour and you can shoot anything up to .50BMG and archery. 25 yards though. Then there's the FOP range. Only $35 one time membership fee. it's about 50 yards (but if you are there alone, you can stertch it out across the parking lot.....but you didn't hear that from me.)
