At least Matthews can be somewhat impartial....he skewers folks on both sides of the aisle. Not Olbermann, though. I guess he doesn't even try to appear like an independent, objective journalist.

I thought he was going to orgasm every night last week during the DNC. He was soooooooooooo inspired/moved/challenged/touched by Obama's speech and all the rest of the Democrat boiler plate.

Palin could walk on water tonight and Olbermann would report "Palin can't swim !"

What do I expect though, I guess, from a serious, deeply intellectual, hard hitting, skilled political analyst who got his start on............wait for it.........ESPN.

The one who is bothering me today is Meredith Vieira. They had her interviewing Giuliani this morning and she sounded like an attack dog for the Democratic Party. I had hoped that after Katie Couric left, the show might become a bit more sensible and at least pretend they were being objective and neutral. Oh well.

Vieira also did another interview where she kept bring up the teen pregnancy stuff.

She needs to go back to game shows.

Mars, it is ok though, before she would say anything, she would mention that the pregnancy has no bearing on anything and is a private matter and is off limits, then go on with her line of questioning. So in other words, she gave a disclaimer so it is ok.

The blantant bias of all the network channels is beyond the pale. Liberals my arse these socialist absolutely hate conservatives and hold the values that built this country in distain. NBC is a frickin joke and the rest are barely better. FOX news then a movie and off to bed. Only go to the networks to catch the falsehoods and BS in order to stay abreast of their spin.

Olbermann has always been a "stooge" & "tool" for liberal politicians. Hope this demotion is only the first of many for him.

Too bad we can't have a newsperson that simply reports the news without giving their biased opinions!!!!!!!

Those days departed with the 15 minute national newscast. Yes, they used to do that. They had a half hour of news. First 15 minutes was local news and weather and the next 15 minutes was national news. That was completely adequate to let you know what you needed to know.

My local news (5 - 6:30) last evening was almost all a live broadcast of an Obama town hall meeting up in Lebanon, Virginia. No, I didn't watch.
