Lindsay Graham, love him or hate him, he does have power in the Senate (For now). Either he has had an ethical moment of clarity, or he knows his balls are in a sling with the upcoming elections.

 

But he is doing something Conservatives have been calling for. Calling for a Select Committee on Benghazi and also blocking all Senate Confirmations until the Banghazi survivors appear before Congress.

 

Short term it wont matter, he will still be losing his seat in the Senate to someone like Lee Bright, who we could use in the Senate. Long term probably wont matter either, Graham has done stepped on his d___ too many times.

 

But we might get to see what a Select Committee breaks down to. Graham is giving them an opportunity to lose their races too, might as well take a bunch with him when he goes.

One might hope, but I won't be surprised if he stays so long in the senate that they have carry him out feet first like Robert Byrd and Ted Kennedy. And even at that, probably have to break his cold dead fingers to pry them loose from his chair. :)
