Check out Gilberts guns. They have some of the lowest prices, on some things, I have seen in a long time. They also ship fast.

Yeah most of the time its an outright lie. And on the off chance they are cheaper, those gouging pricks can keep it. I wouldnt piss on cheaper than dirt if the whole damn building was on fire.

My firearm related bucks are pretty much amoral, anybody selling them at all is already a plus in my book.  Recently bought a thousand rounds of .223 from CTD, cheapest in hand I've seen in a year.

I own a Moonie gun and buy from Walmart too,  btw, but I don't have to believe a company walks on water to take advantage of a decent deal. As far as any particular one being an opportunist gouger at times,  well, P.T. Barnum and H.L. Mencken were dead on, but it's not my fault. Caveat emptor.

I agree with Spots! CTD will never get my business, and it is not just because of their recent price gouging. They are dishonest in their business practices...at least they were with me. And how can one forget their response in December to threatened gun control and their BS reversal explanation.

Gander has put in a concerted effort marketing and selling guns and ammo over the lat year. Prices are spotty on guns but at least the now have a good selection of most ammo.

Gander is usually the highest price around here.......but they also usually have it in stock. On somethings I feel it's worth the mark up TO ME to get it cash and carry.

I mentioned in the original post that Bud's was actually higher than Gander. I ended up buying from Whittaker's and save $200 off of Gander's price. Plus, I ordered it by phone at lunchtime yesterday and picked it up at my FFL at lunchtime today. Fantastic customer service.

Yeah, CTD cut its own throat with several of us gunowners, between the pulling of firearms around December of last year and the gouging that took place earlier this year, I share Spots sentiments.
