Maybe they arrested the wrong persons. No way those fine upstanding young citizens did that to that elderly man!

Let me take a crack at this...

1. They arrested the wrong people, and they are all innocent. (Certainly profiling involved)
2. All four defendants are great young people, probably working hard to get their lives together. (Devout church goers for sure)
3. None of the defendants have ever been trouble makers before. (Aside from their arrest history)
4. The victim certainly antagonized and/or provoked the perps. (Aged Caucasian war hero, surely a racist)

Am I close?
