Brand new used Glock or You gotta love family

So I was looking for a new pistol and was about settled on getting a SA 1911, when I thought I'd give my cousin a call and see what he might have to offload. A little background, my cousin is the type that has a new carry gun every time you see him and is constantly buying new guns and then trading them in on something new. Consequently he chooses to lay-away a bunch of stuff to sorta fly under the radar with his wife.

Anyway, so I call and he says he does in fact need to offload something to payoff an AK he had on lay-away. I shot him an offer on his FDE GEN4 19 thinking he would tell me to pound sand and he said," They would only give me $250 towards the AK for it, so it's yours. And again, he goes full hog on everything so he even threw in three holsters and ammo! Man you gotta love family!

So here it is fellas, for a measly twenty twenties:

Like new Gen4 FDE Glock 19

one extra Glock 17 mag ( for a total of four)

Fobus evolution OWB holster

Galco Waistband IWB holster

Tagua Leather OWB holster

150 various WWB, Federal Champion, UMC FMJs

30 or so  Federal 124 gr +P HST

30 or so Winchester 127 gr +P+

I knew a guy like. No telling how much he lost on trade ins. Dad beat into my head to just buy outright or sell it before I went to the shop .

Awesome deal on a great piece.  Congrats.

I've got a friend like that.  He doesn't have the same taste in guns as I, though.  :(

I've got a buddy who, when he sells to friends, gives uber-fair price and always includes a bunch of extras, holsters, mag carriers, mags.

He doesn't do this however:

I saw a sign at Joe's Crab Shack, "when I die, my worst fear is my wife will sell my fishing gear for what she thinks I paid for it."

Change his sign from fishing gear to guns and stay on good terms with his wife!

Contrats on your deal, it ain't about what you paid, it's all about how you feel.
