as expected, no help from Midway, removed the barrel today, tried to call Satern but they are obviously closed on weekends. Hopefully they will call me back and I can get this resolved somehow... I'm a bit dissappointed. :-(

There was a tad bit of exaggeration in my comment but yeah. I keep seeing the bullets by Lapua get mentioned so if they're involved I can't imagine it being bad. Whole reason I ask is because I have all the parts for a long range ar build. Originally was going for .223 but maybe this will suit my goals a bit better.

 

It will. It's more expensive to shoot than 223. Lapua developed the brass, and had a lot to do with the final specs of the caliber. They even specified the parent.

I've noticed the price difference but that wasn't unexpected. I was thinking of doing the reloading regardless. Might send you a PM with some questions if you don't care.
