Cheaper Than Dirt What??

I've found other places to do business now.  I may pay a small amount more, but will be dealing with businesses I trust.

I put them on my blacklist many moons ago. One of my friends had stuff on order with them and was cancelled due to "out of stock" then next day was in stock at panic pricing. Screw'em

I still remember who was straight with me during that time.

Went to one of those places in Ringgold yesterday and dropped $400 ... they will be the first and last place I go to even if they may be a bit higher of which I have not seen evidence.

Prices are very fair.

CTD and that place on 411 can kiss my royal rosy red posterior no matter how much they spend on advertising. Edited by Currently

I have bought from them over the years. Never have needed anything during the price gouging periods. They have had some great prices on firearms that I have purchase in the past. They were significantly cheaper than anyone else at the time. They have something I want now that is $200.00 cheaper than anywhere else. Might have to reach out. Was treated really well on firearm purchases with unreal shipping prices $9.99 for two firearms.

The gouging issue was practiced by many.I have never been in the need for Magazines and Ammo from them.

I bought in bulk way before this started. I really like them when they started out with the Mil Surplus in the day.

CTD went a bit overboard during the craze.

I'm going to support those shops who didn't take advantage of folks first before a shop with the opportunists.

Now is when I remember how bad they took advantage and gouged people. Yeah, they can charge what they want, and people paid... but desperate people are fragile minded... screw CTD

meh,  I buy from the best priced source.  When they have best price I buy,  If not then no.  It is called capitalism

so if you need something and they have the best price you will not buy?

I applaud your moral stance.  Me, I am all about who has the best price.

I doubt you have this moral high road in regard to hookers.  ;)

hookers are dead?

Oh you are buying,  just matters who is selling!

The hate aimed at CTD makes me laugh my booty off.

I been a customer of theirs since the olden days when you needed to mail them a check.  Nothing changing.

At least a hookers makes it clear that shes gonna screw you when you pay her. You are correct, This is capitalism at its best. They can have the best prices, and I can refuse to buy from them for any reason. That reason just happens to be the ungodly, gouging of gun owners, and them removing guns from their website then stepping all over their dicks apologizing a week later. You shop where you want, Ill shop where I want. But if I'm gonna pay to get screwed, its gonna be a hooker, nor ctd

Tapatalk ate my spelling.

This is similar to what happened to me several years ago. I found an ammo deal one evening on CTD's website and submitted an order. I received confirmation in my account on their website that my order was in process, so I told some friends about the deal and they submitted orders AFTER I submitted my order. Long story short, I never received my order and all they would say is that it was out of stock even though their website clearly indicated available inventory at much higher prices at other warehouses. Most of my friends did receive their orders at the discount price and one ended up selling me some of what he bought since I gave him the heads up about the deal. I said then that I would never do business with them again, and after their shenanigans over the last year, I have never felt better about having that decision justified...I have no good words for CTD.  :puke:

After CTD started gouging last year I took them time to call them and let them know I wanted to be taken off their mailing list and the reason why. I know whoever I was talking to could give a crap less but it made me feel better. I may be wrong but I'm sure they lost a lot of customers over the last year because of their antics.

Here's a perfect example...... http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/AMM-0520

Am I missing something? 325 rounds for $119.19? Honestly I hope I'm missing something because gougers don't even charge these kind of prices.

I'm surely missing something, this must be for a case.
