Any of you guys dedicated enough to go to the midnight release? Im not lol. I put some serious thought into it but I know if i did, i would come home and start playing it at 1230 am, and not be able to stop till the early morning hrs, which would make for a long crappy Tuesday. So im just going to wait until tomorrow to go pick it up.

Might go to the PS4 midnight release if my guy at GS says they have extras for the shelves...otherwise waiting the 48 hour hold period and going to gank someone's pre order. Games, no never. Too easy to manufacture they will never sell out on day 1.

This is funny to me. I downloaded it day before yesterday and will be playing at 11 tonight. I have Tuesday off so staying up late wont be a problem.

Sorry to disappoint i guess?? Idk what to tell you, to each his own. People have different hobbies. Some guys metal detect, some guys ride motorcycles, some guys woodwork, etc. this thread was intended for other video game enthusiasts, specifically bf4 players. Im sorry if the thread title misled you.

relax, all i did was comment that it was not real battlefields.  I have no problem with gaming or gamer's.

I guess cause your on central time? You will only get an hour or two head start on us console players, so thats not too bad. Im jealous though at the fact that you dont have to get out to pick up the game.

I would definitely get it if I had good enough internet. I'm a PC guy through and through. FPS is hard for me with a joystick, I'm much better with a mouse. I played the crap out of BF2 and 3. One thing I wish they would bring back is LAN support and BOTS for those of that don't have fast internet.

Never expect anything to do with electronics to work right out of the box on day one. Luckily most stuff is internet connected now so it can be fixed rather than recalled. Just look at GTAV online. Over a billion in sales and still didn't anticipate/couldn't handle all the people trying to join at the same time.

Ive got a few hours in the game so far, and as expected loving it! I havent even tried multiplayer yet, gonna beat the campaign first. I buy Battlefield for as much of the campaign as I do the multiplayer. I did notice though there has already been a multiplayer update. I would expect a few weeks before they get their servers set just right to where there are no multiplayer problems. It happened with BF3 as well.

ok I just beat the campaign, good but RIDICULOUSLY short. I had about 4 hours in it. Picked it up today and beat it today lol. It was a pretty decent storyline, but I would be lying if I said I wasnt a little disappointed. Oh well, on to multiplayer

And to be completely honest, at this point i like bf3 multiplayer better. Im going to give it some more time to see if it gets any better. Is it just me or do the graphics look WORSE than bf3 (xbox 360)?

I am right there with you, I like 3 much better so far and yes the graphics are very simple and very bland. I also noticed that the flying vehicles seem to be dumbed down and easier to fly.

Not sure how the controls are set up but my faves have always been: Plane- Left stick acceleration and yaw, right stick pitch and roll. Helo- Left stick rotor throttles for main and rear, right stick roll. I hate when I pick up a controller and they are different from this standard lay out.

A LOT of people have been complaining about the controls. There is a huge thread on the issue over on the battlelog forums. The game developers were/are supposed to give us bf3 controls back and call it "legacy" under the control layout options, but it hasnt happened yet. I hope they do it soon. I HATE the land vehicle controls.

Reed the land vehicles controls are rough. I do hope they make those changes. They have the Legacy control option but it's not the same as BF3. Knewcomb you think that's what is going on with the Graphic? If so that stinks for all of the ps3 and 360 owners. Oh and I don't know if you guys have noticed but if you shoot 10 rounds and reload you lose what ammo was left in that ma.

More realistic I guess.

Yeah, that does not bother me one bit but the first few times I played it I could not figure why I was running out of ammo so quickly. I am bad about killing one person then a mag dump to reload whether I shot 5 rounds or 20. Anyone else having issues finding servers for the 360 to play on?
