Walmart has ammo, finally.

Went by the Walmart in Halls yesterday and finally after about four months they had Federal Bulk Pack .22 LR in stock. They were priced at 13.99( i think) for a 550 round box. I picked up three and would have gotten more if I had more cash. Looked like their other WWB stocks had been refurbished too.

I did not think they would ever get the Federal back in.

I have been in just about all the Wal Marts from Dalton Ga over to Cosby and up to Onieda. Most of them no longer have guns and their ammo has been near nothing.I was wondering what was going on with them.

I do not go in the ones that do not have guns,I have nothing to look at while the wife is shopping. They no longer have good knives or fishing reels either.

my sister is a manager of a walmart in florida, she said they will be getting out of the ammo sales business soon. dont know if she is right, but she is in a position to know. btw she is pro gun so i dont think her view is slanted.

The Walmarts in Chattanooga have just re-arranged their sporting goods departments. As far as I can tell, they still have the same number of rifles and shotguns, but they are now lined up behind a counter, and not in those rotating carousel things they used to have. They still have rifle and handgun ammo, and are beginning to fill the aisles with shotgun shells, as they do every fall.

Walmart ammo, white box .38 and .357 is what i was buying, untill I actually looked at the price Guns and Leather has on their ammo. It is cheaper that Wally world. One more reason I don't have to put up with the annoying terds in blue vests....woot.

Thanks for the heads up. I bought some Federal 22lr yesterday. Some of their prices seemed good but then again I haven't purchased ammo in about 5 months (except for 22lr) since I started reloading.
