Well I found an upper, lower kit and BCG, and get this, ALL LEFT HANDED, Spikes has them.

Glad you finally found all the left handed parts you were after! I bet it's a pure pain trying to find parts for a lefty.

Question as I know very little about this platform.

Any one know if the TGO lower has the small take down pins?

Stag Arms uses  "Pivot/Take down Pin Size: Small pin - .250"

As I have not ordered yet, I do not want to spend money on things I do not need.

Idk know anything about large or small takedown pins and since any mil-spec upper will bolt to any mil-spec lower so as far as I know there is no difference.

AFAIK, Colt was the only to ever use large pins.

The Colt uses the same takedown pins as everyone else uses. There is a small and large pin size for the hammer and trigger pin. Is it it the hammer and trigger pin you are talking about Red?

.... The Colt uses the same takedown pins as everyone else uses.

Now, but not always. Colt commercial rifles used to use 0.315 pivot and takedown pins, though their mil spec ones have always been .250.

Places like KNS Precision still offer their one piece push button pins in both specs, for example.

No, the 2 pins that hold the upper to the lower.

Ah, I had no idea. I guess every Colt I've messed with have been newer mil-spec rifles. Thanks for the correction.

Me too.... by far!

Why do  you much prefer the Raptor? I've never handled one and only seen pictures and they look quite similar (of course there may be something I've missed in crappy stock photos)

Bravocompany has some pretty good deals on some blem items.

Gunfighter charging handles $25.00 Says they're slightly off spec but 100%good to go. 1 year warranty. I picked up two at that price.

Blem uppers for $79.00 w/ejection port and forward assist kits thrown in. Some have had barrels mounted for display, some have scratches. Not too bad if you only got a lower and planning a new finish anyway.

Also, AIM has Nib BCGs back in stock, still $129.00 They have a tab with "Black Friday Specials" but nothing in there yet. I'm ordering one and if its on sale and hasn't shipped I'll cancel and reorder.

Man, they ship fast too! Also included in my order was a free Bravo Company "Combat Effective" mouse pad.

It doesn't get any better than those folks. I have one of the mouse pads too, and a gazillion of their stickers.

Well I feel cheated! I got my BCM package in today and I didn't get a mouse pad.. I don't own a desktop computer and haven't in a good many years so I suppose a mouse pad would have been a coaster for me. I haven't installed one of the "blem" charging handles yet but I can't spot a defect and as a matter of fact the only difference I have found was that they are missing the "BCM Gunfighter" that is normally printed across the top of it and it says "for training use only" on the underside. Hopefully there no hidden mechanical issues.

I didn't get a mouse pad either. I got a few stickers though so cool enough for me. I didn't see anything super noticeable on mine, I haven't done a side by side with a normal one, I'm not that worried about it. BCM says 100% and they seem to cycle the bolt as well as my other gunfighter so all in all I'm happy with the price.

I may have spent more than you guys did.

Considering BCM is like a drug dealer to AR guys, they might have known you were new and thus made sure to give you a little extra up front to get you hooked...
