Somebody who would do that is almost as low as a child molester.

That is insane. Hopefully it doesn't cost anyone their life but if it does hopefully they can charge the seller for something. This is the the most disgusting thing I can think of.

That is why you buy from known sources and not from people you might never meet again. When I bought mine I walked in the PACA plant, which is just outside Knoxville, and had a custom set made. Cost me more but I know that mine is 100% real.

Makes you wonder how many of the hard armor plates or helmets sold at the shows are real as well. They are both sold through airsoft retailers and are identical in size, weight and markings but won't stop a 22. They are made out of fiberglass rather than aramid fibers.

Even if the cermic plates are real how would one know if they were not cracked?

According to this article, 1000's have been sold over 6 years. Thats a lot of people out there wearing body armor with a false sense of security that they will find out if they ever need it. I know most PD's g through reputable companies with contracts and get discounts, I would be willing to bet there are at least SOME small departments who saw this as a deal and their officers have been on the streets with them.

These guys need to hang.

Trailer Park Boys. Well worth a watch. This movie wasn't as good as the series.

OK, had me wondering. I know there are some dumb wannabe's out there, for a second I thought I was seeing the dumbest. But considering I have used 100 mile an hour tape for everything, and it works for everything, 100 mile an hour tape body armor might not be such a bad idea. 100 tubes of JB Weld over some cardboard for plates and it could stop anything.

Talk about a dumb ass. We had a guy who made some "body armor" out of cardboard when I was overseas. He said he did it because he got tired of carrying all that weight around. After finding this out we promptly fired him and sent him home.

Certainly he didn't think it would stop rounds, right?

They need to put all three of them in some of their Point Blank Body Armor and put the on a firing range and test the stuff with a few police officers practicing and see if it really works but have the officers fire blanks and listen to them scream for mercy before they start shooting. Then they can take them straight to the showers because they will all have a pants full. You can bet the ones that made bond probably now live in another country where we cannot touch them. The guy that couldn't make bond will get still taking the whole rap...............
