Word of warning the magpul asap sling attachment would not fit on my cmt billet lower. I ended up throwing it on my nfa pistol lower.

Really? That's odd, what was wrong? I know mine annoyed the crap out of me until I cut the sling attachment loop off. It sounded like I was walking around with a pocket full of change

It has 2 triangle points/teeth that go are supposed to stabilize against the back strap of the lower. Well the cmt is wider there and it wouldn't work. I guess you could Dremel them off.

Got ya, didn't think a thing about these lowers being thicker

I hope my Noveske QD end plate fits properly.

It should since it doesn't have the "teeth"

The new KX3 came in today. Similar to the first one, this one also had the rub marks around it. This one wasn't nearly as bad, so I was able to rub them out with my hands.

Thanks for the info. I'll pop it on another lower I guess.

I've been eyeing those pins, or some very similar.

Easy take down pins are great. Im including them on all my future builds. I picked up the yhm easy take down pins from joebobs. They have them on sale for 17.95 right now.

Off to a good start!

I think I will make another AR pistol, and I'm gonna name it "Heinz 57".
