hogue grip on ar

Recommended Posts

I love the Hogue grip, and I've never had that problem. You should probably send me the AR and get yourself a new one.

I've had it happen. Fact is though, the Hogue is probably the best AR grip in the whole world. If the selector just won't work, you gotta get a new selector or trim the grip. I would have to look at my guns to find the worst one. I've never had to trim one of my grips though. Use the gun and it will trim itself

hmmmm.. never noticed how close mine was.. I also have the Spikes Lower and CMMG parts kit and Hogue grip, but mine barely touches the grip.. anyway, if it did I'd just take the dremmel to it and grind the grip a bit in that spot..

How tight is the handgrip?? Too tight may have compressed the rubber causing it to expand....I think it'll free up eventually as well obtain hogues occasionally never had that problem

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.

Now Dustbuster is doing some thinking! Makes sense to me. If Dustbuster's idea doesn't do the trick, a bit of light dremel work to the back side of the selector would take care of it and not leave any visible sign.
