I ran across this Ak74 pistol yesterday. I know even tho its considered as a pistol, I dont remember the last time I saw a pistol fire 7.62X39. Does anyone here have any experience with them? Im debatiing on getting it, since its cheaper than most full ak's I found. Its also rather nice has all the right curves!

Draco, I guess.

Lots of folks here have one, some will probably chime in, but likely would have found it better found in pistol area, and with an actual firearm specific topic title.

Folks build 7.62x39 AR pistols, too. Anyway, strap one on in public and you can be as famous as Lenny Baby! :)

I had no idea it was a draco. All it know it needs a colapsable stock. And yeah, in retrospect, a better title would have helped.

I had one but it mutated! Fun as a pistol, perfect as a sbr. Mine started as a Yugo M92 PAP which I believe is what you linked. Excellent quality in my opinion but I'm not an AK expert. I kind of wish I had gotten the 5.56 version due to all my other rifles being 5.56 but figured ballistics of 7.62 out of that length barrel would be better. Also figured my only AK should be 7.62

its a century arms PAP 92....... I am on the verge of driving down to the shop to buy it, but I want to mount a foldable stock to it, but as soon as I do, it will be considered a class 3 so I am reluctant.

Only reluctant? Would advise a bit stronger aversion than that without a tax stamp!
