Thanks for the update!

I'm actually at HP fairly regularly right now and have not seen any signs. I usually enter near the American Cafe which is an actually mall entrance.

Methinks you just don't want to see them, Strick.

HP has been posted for a good long while, last trip down in late June was still in the "mall rules" at each main entrance (with small gunbuster sign and legal wording)...now those are gone, and there's a regular Gun Buster sign with all the legal wording. At entrance next to Pickadilly's and at the one next to Dillard's around the side, were the two I looked at, just today. Aren't these the only two main entrances?

None of the anchor store entrances posted still, though.

1) That's above my eye level

2) That posting is on an automatic door which means you're unable to see it when you enter

I have actually never seen those postings! GTK!

I just found this thread and started reading though it before I found who old it was. I was about 2 pages in before I noticed the year. Since it was started in Aug of 2008, I just noticed the Aug and didn't read the year and thought it was fresh and though man I fell 10 8 pages behind.

Anyways, late to the game but for the comments on writing the property owners, won't work, complain to the tenants by letter, let them know they are losing customers.

I was back at HP on Sunday and did not see that sign.

I even made a point to stop and look.

The only signs I saw were the no shoes, no shirt one :)

It is also posted as street signs as you pull onto the property

Which means you can't even pull into their parking lot and park.

They did the Bradley Square Mall like this last go around. I stopped going there at all, nothing there that I can't buy elsewhere.

Actually, I was down there about 5 weeks ago, and seemed like the whole mall was in going out of business sale mode. I bought 2 pairs of Timberland shoes for $30 each at Dillards of all places (I've paid over double that in the past); would never even have considered going there, 'cept for Mom's urging. It was no tax weekend, too.

On the weapons posting issue, we went in through Sears, and there was no gun mention of any kind.

So, things have changed? Postings on all entrances now?

Dude,

If I remember correctly the property is even posted like it is at Bradley Square Mall in Cleveland.

I've never seen any parking lot postings either. Honestly.

I have. If I remember correctly they are there as you come into the parking lot there right where olive garden is I think on the Belk Side.

My wife and I go to Chattanooga every now and then (there is still no Academy in the Knoxville area and there are two in the Chattanooga area, now.) There are a couple of shops around Hamilton Place that she likes to go in while we are there but it has been a long time since we were actually in the mall. The last time we were down there, I didn't notice any signs posted at the parking lot entrances. Then, again, I am usually too busy driving and trying to avoid getting us killed by some idiot in an Escalade/Yukon/Hummer/etc. to look for signs.

They are there trust me. Or at least they were there at one time.

That brings up a good question, at least to me. If I go to the Academy Sports that is on the Hamilton Place Access road and buy a gun, am I in jeopardy of getting kicked off Hamilton Place property etc as soon as I walk out the door of Academy Sports on my way to my car?

No cuz the signs are not out that far where best buy and academy and all that is. THey are just past the olive garden where you can either turn left and go through the parking lot and come out on gun barrell road or you can go right and circle back around the mall and onto 75.

Just down there for a week.

Still posted, as they were last trip about 7 weeks ago, with:

Two signs on each side on all three main mall entrances (Pickadilly, American Cafe, Foodcourt).

Actually, either American Cafe or Foodcourt only had one, looked like one had fallen down or something.

All the signs regarding "mall rules" are now GONE in the parking lots.
