I didn't get out either. Will A.> do some at a friend's house Monday after work, or B.> might see if SpacemanSpiff is going to OH Tuesday after work.

Well, RISC777 met me at OHGC today. Shot some, BS'ed some. Was a little scared about meeting a stranger at a gun club, but everything turned out OK. (That's just a joke) It was funny, I tried his Sigma .40 and my first shot startled me and I hit probably about 2 feet below my target. We both laughed. After about 4 rounds, I got the hang of it. He tried my Sig P229 .40 and he shot well. I think I know what his next gun will be.;)

That's one thing I like about Owl Hollow, it's not just about shooting. I find that I BS more with others than actually shoot. That's a good thing considering the price of ammo right now. Good thing I reload.

RISC777, if we able to meet up again, the guest fee is on me. Unless, of course, you go to the orientation on Saturday.

Spaceman, it was good times, thanks again. [spacemanSpiff is quite the alright fellow.]

My first shot out of the Sigma was a startling experience too, LOL. You should have shot it before I did work on it! I'll be glad when the spring from Wolff arrives though, hopefully by next weekend.

That Sig of yours shoots very, very nicely. I was surprised that I did as well with it since it was the first time firing a 229. The grips you put on are a great addition to it, to me the grip change makes it easier to reacquire the target.

I am planning on Saturday, yes. (And planning on Sunday, the 13th.)

Edit:

Image of the P229 not exactly accurate to yours, SpacemanSpiff, but the closest I could find. I was also thinking that joining Owl Hollow might not be the best thing since it would allow more opportunity to shoot which equates to more ammo purchasing... but definitely more shooting(!).
