Should i or shouldnt i? Help!

Well, i have been wanting a tantal for a long time, even though i do not have anything in the 5.45 cal. and i swore i would not get another cal. to support!

Century has been doing really nice ones, and yes i have heard of all the problems on the early ones, as well as that Century admitted to those problems and said they were fixed as of about 2 months ago! Some where someone had the starting ser. no. of the fixed ones, i think it was 2200 or 2500, anybody know?

I had thought about an Interarms one, but it does seem that even though their early ones were great, all the late ones are really bad and worse than the Cent. ones! Any info is appreciated! Thank You.

The last or next to last Shotgun News had a thorough review of the Polish Tantal, and it was all good. The ammo is less expensive, and I wouldn't hesitate at all to get one, if I had the money, and one was available. Go for it!

I have a very low serial # Century Tantal. I have had zero problems. I use only Mil Surplus.

The 70 gr Wolf I understand is the problem. To heavy for the twist of the barrel.

I can get it for $600. otd and i have been on net most of the night and morn. and the more i read about Cent. Tantals the worse it gets, I know there was a good review in Shot. news recently, but those 2 dudes there are basically owned by century and the articles credibility was questioned on several forums. Their 2 experts have done reviews on several guns i own and i believe they dont really know what the write. To many errors.

Most of the post that I have seen don't discuss the ammo issue. I have not seen any

thing recent either. Most are posted a while back. I never owned a Century product

that didn't need to be tweaked. This tantal I own had a slight cant on the front sight block. A good rap with a rubber mallet straighted it out.. Joe @ Hero Gear had a nice one in stock the other day. I know I looked at mine before I purchased it. Joe will make it right if there are issues.
