Moden muzzle loaders

I'm looking to pick up a muzzle loader for whitetail hunting and have been looking around.  Bass Pro, Dicks, Academy, Outpost Armory, Nashville Armory, and Guns and Leather don't seem to carry the T/C Triumph I'm looking for.  I've heard great things about the rifle but can't seem to find anyone who has one to look at or who is willing to order it.  So what do you all recommend or where do you recommend I pick one up at?  I looked at the Vorteks but seem to like the T/C's better

Buds has it but the shipping they saw could take a few weeks which I dont have time to wait for.

There are many good brands out there. The CVA Optima is an awesome ML and I prefer them over TC. I've never seen a TC Triumph, so I'm not much help there.

I asked a similar question a few weeks ago on the hunters thread, and was under the impression the some of the ML's at Wally world are worth looking at. And having done so, thought I saw some of the CVA's there maybe I am wrong and hopefully more will chime in, hope to pick one up soon myself in time for BP season.

Walmart sells the CVA Wolf and it's a fine ML. I have 4 ML's and that one is my favorite.

The TC is a nice ML. The only problem I've ever seen with the Triumph was they didn't like the tripple 7 primers. The action wouldn't lock on the Triumph using the t7 primers. You can pick up a nice used Kight ML for about $100. They have great triggers and shoot very well. Don't let the #11 cap thing scare ya off. Never had a failure to fire with my Knight.

Thanks guys, I also checked out Franklin Gun shop, On Target, another Dicks and Academy, Wal-Mart, the saddle shop, Lock stock and barrel all with no luck.  As much as I hate it I picked it up from Buds.  I've heard some bad reviews from them but being that nobody has it in stock or is willing to order it for me without it being $150 more than Buds price I just went with it.  I'll let you know how it goes.

I wished I would have kept my Muzzle Loaders. When MS started allowing 45-70 and .35 Wheelen for Primitive season my Muzzle Loaders became worthless. Could barely give them away. I swapped an Optima for a Bayonet and a Disc Extreme with a scope for 2 50 round boxes of CCI .22 and 2 550 round boxes of .22.

Could have sold them here for at least 50 or 60 bucks. What I tell anyone looking for a good Black Powder Rifle, drive the 5 hours to MS, someone would probably give you a couple.
