Brown Actually Vetoes Some Anti-Gun Bills

Moonbeam actually vetoed 7 of 17 anti-gun laws submitted to him by the Kali legislature. The very worst was to classify any rifle with detachable mag as an assault weapon, which would have brought it into much more stringent control or outright ban.

 

I'm actually shocked.

 

One thing that was banned was lead "bullets" for hunting. Can't find if that means all bullets, like even .22LR. I mean, is there a .22 alternative even?

That lead thing may be the worst of them all.

Seems to me a good backdoor way to limit ammo. EPA regulations on gun ranges would easily follow.

I just do not trust the ba$+rds at all.

There are 22lr that use zinc rather than lead. It isn't very widespread but I remember seeing it a few years ago.

Jerrys a real POS. what absolutely confounds me is that I have many friends in Cali who are dyed in the wool gun lovers. AND SOME OF THEM VOTED FOR HIM!!!

Like Raul said, that lead thing is bad news, even for us over here. Previously lead had already been banned in a few areas of Ca for hunting, but it was kind of a joke because those areas were either in places that you couldn't hunt anyway, or in areas where you might could hunt, provided you dont mind sitting around shooting seagulls. Maybe a few good hunting areas affected but not many.

Looks like someone wised up.

I thought it was the state, but it must have been several counties that banned the use of lead in ammunition, or it got

turned over while I wasn't watching. Whatever Jerry is doing, it will eventually include banning weapons.
