So take it for what its worth, they are right at times.

The Department of Transportation has called in the National Guard to (Armed) block off 495 to keep the truckers out of DC tomorrow.

Couple of things that make this seem unlikely. (But IT COULD HAPPEN, nothing would surprise me)

The Department of Transportation has no authority whatsoever to call in National Guard troops.

I-495 is only the Beltway. To block the Beltway from keeping truckers from coming in they are also going to have to block 95, 270, 295, 395, 50, 81 and several other roads. This doesnt count alternate and snow routes. It also doesnt take into consideration that if the truckers want to block off DC all they have to do is block 95, 270, 295, 50 and other alternate and snow routes.

Any State that sends troops to block the Capital should be considered a State in Rebellion. Until they get INSIDE the Beltway in which case the President Commands the DC NG, and then we know who is responsible. But at the same time if they get inside the Beltway, if anything "were to happen" Federal Troops could be called out, since the Capital is exempt from the Posse Comitatus act. Which would then be "not good".

Now NOT according to infowars news reports are saying truckers are already showing up and have been for a couple of days, also that an unusually large number of people are gathering in the Capital as well as bikers again, and Veterans Organizations. Tea Party Groups.

The Washington Post called it a Hoax yesterday, now their Transpportation site says "They really are doing it", USA Today called the Truckers Anti Government people being used. The AFL-CIO, cowards and Communists as usual have backed down, The Virginia State Police say they are going to treat it as they do every other protest in the Capital, they will get their escorts and the roads will be open for the truckers. The Virginia State police are calling out more officers "Geller said additional troopers will be deployed Friday and through the weekend in case any incidents or problems tied to the rally occur. But as long as no one breaks the law, the truckers will be allowed to proceed with their activities — just as other groups have in the past. She said the additional staffing is to ensure that traffic continues to move safely through the region.

Sgt. Marc Black of the Maryland State Police said that the agency does not plan to add additional patrols, but that authorities will be watching the highways to ensure no traffic issues occur. Pennsylvania State Police will be doing the same, a spokesman said."

So far 3000 truckers were reported coming, but according to Washington Post it looks like more than 10,000 may show up.
