Saw this on the Drudge earlier. The win goes to one of the comments in response to the family describing one of the hoodlums needing to "find himself", with the commenter pointing out that now a whole bunch of people will be finding him all over the place.

I can't help but to ask...which piece are they looking for?  lol

ha!  too bad they didn't have security cameras so we could see if they had time for an "oh sh*t" look or not.

I'm guessing the last thing to go through their mind was the safe door, since they likely didn't hear the hissing sound of the fuses on the other side as they were running their cutting torch.

This story made quick rounds in the safe technician field.  Had a friend of mine who is one say the last thing you should even think about doing when attempting to open a safe is use a cutting torch.

Now gun owners will see this as a deterrent and start putting explosives in their safes for "safekeeping"

 

DONT DO IT! You may lock yourself out of your own safe and need to get in. Many gun owners own cutting torches, not because they need them, but because they are cheap at Harbor Freight.
