Hipertouch 24 AR trigger

Recommended Posts

They have something against the letter Y, or just couldn't spell it?

Marketing gimmick that plagues the firearms industry and PSA is not immune; I realize that's nails on a chalkboard for you, kinda like marshal arts. I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on this one rather than getting the Chip McCormick trigger I've been eyeing since this one is adjustable. Just wanted to know if anyone has squeezed this on to see if it's good stuff. Right now it comes with a LPK for $200 on PSA.

TMF, i know you're looking at the PSA trigger but sinse you're shopping...Primary Arms has a sale on triggers, right now. It's not much but it caught my eye.

If your talking bout the hiperfire ar triggers I have one, its built nice, smooth, hard strike crisp short pull great for the range or competition only IMHO. I looked at 3 diff hiperfire ar setups at rock castle this year after spending 30 mins working their demo triggers in the display guns,I grabbed an ar 24 w spring kit. They back it up 100% w lifetime warranty, price is same as most if the other mainstream triggers.

Thanks for the line on that. They have the CMC trigger I've been pricing, it's just that I'd like the ability to adjust as low as 2.5 lbs on a single stage trigger and the CMCs are 3.5. I read that there is hardly any pre travel on the CMC and reset is fast, but the poundage is more than I'd like. I haven't seen many reviews on the Hipertouch by folks who've experienced other aftermarket trigger assemblies, but can't help but be wooed by the price tag on PSA's Hipertouch + LPK for the price of just one CMC. I really hate blowing $200 and not be happy with what I get.

Yeah, I see these being advertised on the Hiperfire website, but perhaps I misunderstood PSA as marketing it as their own:

http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ar-15-05/lower-parts/palmetto-state-armory-hipertouch-lpk.html

I do like the idea of increased hammer strength with a 2.5 trigger pull, since I'm currently dealing with a light strike issue with what I'm running now and have heard CMC can be prone to light strikes on rimfire. This is going into an M&P 15-22 dedicated for a slidefire. Do you recall how much pretravel there was in this trigger compared to other aftermarket triggers you've handled? Also, how quick was the reset compared to a stock trigger group? Was it over the top noticeable or about the same only slightly better?
