Have you read about her? I have been hearing about her a lot, not even in the presidential banter. The more I read, the more I love her!

Fox News reports that Romney is out. I heard Pawlenty say this morning that he is "not going to Ohio...you can draw your own conclusions from that." I also heard that a small aircraft has landed in Ohio and the occupant was taken inside under deep cover...and according to reports...Palin owns her own plane!

According to wikipedia, here are a few high points:

-Nicknamed "Barracuda" as the point guard for her state-championship winning basketball team, because of her fierce intensity.

-Avid outdoorsman. Works in off-season on her husband's commercial fishing boat. Hunted moose with her father every morning before going to school as a child.

-Lifetime member of the NRA

-Anti-abortion

-Runner-up to the Miss Alaska beauty pageant, in which she did win Miss Congeniality.

Lots and lots more! If McCain picks her, at least I will only have to hold one nostril while casting my vote.

This woman is awesome. Pro-Life and Pro-Gun. She has been a Lifetime Member of the NRA for a long time and she hunts.

I am sick of the media whining about her experience. She was head of the energy committee for Alaska, a mayor, and governor for 2 years. Compared to Obama she has a lifetime of experience.

Been reading reader commentary on the news stories as well as a few blog entries... interesting thing seems to be that a lot of Hillary supporters are insulted by this, based on the belief that McCain picked her only because she has a vagina.

But then, I can't help but wonder just how representative of the group these vocal offendees are.

Obama has already put his foot in his mouth saying that McCain picked an inexperienced person to be only a heartbeat away from the Presidency. Actually I think he mentioned her being a small town mayor and ignored the fact she has been a Governor for two years.

Besides, in terms of experience, I don't think I'd bring that up if I was Obama.
