I had an obscure part break on one of my Dillon powder measures last week.  I couldn't even see a parts breakdown to find the name of the part.  So I told them the funnel like cast piece that screws on the #2 expansion powder loading die.  Thingy, whatzit cast thing.  I got an email today saying the part was on the way.  Went out to the mailbox a few minutes later and there it was.  It's actually a "Body Collar Complete" in the rare event it breaks again.

This isn't the first time I've gone back to Dillon for a problem and their response is always the same.  Fast service, no bs replacement of anything that breaks at no cost.  It's hard to beat a warranty like that.

I love dillon as well great business model part 2 The quality is good cust svc is good. Excellent value. I've got a 650 w a few add ons, started loading 40 45 and now 300 AAC.cam jump to 223 or 308 quickly. Lots of good info on the net in case of a problem. When I first looked into reloading about a year pre shortage the amount of info was overwhelming and sometimes confusing. I know there's other good gear out there but dillon is awesome supporting their goods. Their instructions are dead on for the most part. Plus there's so many guys that use the line it's hard not to find help if there is a problem. For component help just call Dillon. They're also supporting 300 AAC to a certain degree as well for right now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling. Edited by Dustbuster

Had a buddy send in a trashed old 550 was just worn out had been used to load 45acp for many years. $65 they sent it back looked like new totally reconditioned he was not even the original owner. I love mine. Bullets are showing up at some what normal pricing again so it will be time to put it to work again soon.

I bought used square deal B last X-mas. Had a few things that where missing or wore out. A simple call and new parts are on there way. Have three callibers sets for it now, but will be going to a 650 when I get ready for .223 or 300 Black outs for my TGO AR build.

I went with this as my first set up and couldn't be happier, have loaded 9's and 380. Over 10k loads. Many folks have said get a single stage press, but I'm glad I went with the Dillon SDB for my first loader.

I own a 550B

While I think they make a good product they also have issues with many designs and the

answer if always just send the guy out a new part but it does not always fix the problem .

I've had an RL-550B for over 20 years, and I've loaded in excess of 100K rounds on it.

This last Sunday I was reloading .45acp and was having wierd primer seating problems.

Got to diagnosing the problem and:

A busted crank.

New part on the way no cost to me. Tech said it happens and the new cranks are redisgned and reinfiorced to give better leverage.

I would not hesitate to buy another Dillion based just on their CS alone.

WOW!  I've never seen a break like that.  But that's why I try to stick with Dillon products.  (Mine is the RL550b with a bunch of extra powder measures, etc.)  They are like Craftsman from Sears used to be,  maybe still is.  I smashed a ratchet using it for a hammer.  I took it back and the salesman said - "looks like you used it for a hammer!"  I responded that I did.  He said that it didn't make any difference and gave me a brand new one.  I really miss that kind of customer service.   It definitely makes you want to maybe pay a little more to stick with companies that treat you well.

My 1st press was a Lee turret. I reasoned that it'd be just as good as a Dillon, if you consider all the money I'll save.

I can admit when I'm wrong. I load 9mm Luger on a 650 now and 45 acp on a 550. Once you go BLUE, you'll always stay true.

The Lee sits untouched in the off chance I feel like reloading a dozen or so Makarovs for the range.
