Catholic Military Chaplains threatened with arrest if performing Mass during Government shutdown

On a side note to these articles, so the Military now has to Contract Chaplains? The various Religions do not have enough volunteers for the Chaplaincy? I have to wonder because I never saw a Chaplain who wasn't in the Chaplains Corps wearing Officer Rank while I was in. Didnt seem to be any shortage of Chaplains. Technnically they are all "contract" since they can be recalled by any of their Religious organizations (At least thats how it used to be). 

 

The other thing is, this isnt affecting other Religions? Every article only points to Catholics and one leader in the Catholic Church stated that it was only Catholics since this Administration has been after the Catholics since he took office.

 

According to all of the articles I have been reading, Contract Chaplains face firing and Military Cahtolic Chaplains face Disciplinary Action if they conduct Mass, Weddings, Baptise or Bury anyone.

Ridicules! This admin. is spending so much money to forcibly shut down things that din't cost anything in the first place. I pray each night that there will be an awakening the next day and will continue doing so. The stuff going on right now is so bad/wrong that Ray Charles could see through it yet anyone that supported Obama to start with is to proud to admit they were wrong and join the good fight.

Im going to have to ignore the SNopes thing Keal since they have been proven frauds. Im sure Snopes will post that they arent frauds with a red circle. But your probably right. Although thats not what the Catholic Church is saying their Chaplains have been told.
