My New Backpack Tool Organizer.

I was moving some things around in my work bag and needed a way to hold some of my tools in one place so they wouldn't rattle around or get eaten by the bag so I made this.  It's a piece of kydex with holes in a one inch grid and some flat elastic band from the craft store to hold everything down.

I like this, a lot.

I think if I made something like this I would also need to make some sort of slotted tray to slide a few of the boards into.

The gears in my head are turning and that usually means a huge mess in my garage.

That would be pretty sweet.  better for a tool box or maybe a soft side bag more so then a backpack.  U-channel from Lowe's/Home Depot and bolt it all together?

I love it. We need to get together, I have a old school ifak pouch and a big full medic kit that needs those.

Yeah like $8 lol. The cord was something around $1.58 and the kydex was maybe $5 worth from a full sheet.

I have a lot of kydex hanging around from making holsters. I can see myself making small ones that tuck in pockets to hold small tools and supplies. Thanks for the idea.
