I spent the last 2 weeks in the Windy City for medical treatment. Of course this is at Northwestern University Hospital on the Gold Coast. Parking at the Hotel with a room was just under 70 bucks a night. Everyone standing around with their hand out it seems to me.  Anyway they have 17 people shot in a park not too far away and it makes national news.  They leave out the fact that 2 hours before that, another shooting occurred,  3 or 4 hit, one or more dead.  Then later another shooting, bringing the total for the night to over 20 shot, and they just kinda dropped the fact that a couple were killed and focused on the fact no one was killed in the 17 shot and one was 3 years old.  Taking your 3 year old to the park at 10:30?  In gang banger land.  Gimme a break.  Then they parade on the local tv blaming the problem on ILLEGAL GUNS.

The next night 10 people where shot in retaliation for the night before. WTF?

I had some time to kill, so I stopped by the NWU hospital library, and tried to log onto this website.  GUESS What?  couldn't do it because it is related to WEAPONS and blocked.   Hows that for idiots?

Unfortunately I'm leaving to go back next week.  Fortunately I will be in the hospital for the month I am there..  I hope no stray bullets fly my way.. Note to self, stay away from windows

A lot of the nanny filters in hospital and doctor office wifi networks in chatt also block TGO. Even my opthalmologist, who is a gun friendly guy. I keep meaning to ask him whats up with that, but probably they feel like they got to have nanny filters so people can't watch porn in the waiting room, and the same nanny filters block gun sites. Maybe the filters could be tweaked, but their main biz is treating sick people, not futzing with wifi installed as a customer convenience. Its one of the reasons to have data connection on smart phone, pad or puter, so you can browse at the doctor office without a nanny filter. I just disable wifi and use 3G/4G at doctor offices or waiting for the dealer to service the jeep.

Yea, I tried to log in at Memorial a couple of weeks ag and it also blocked me due to a weapons related site.
