Active shooter on Capitol Hill

Recommended Posts

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/10/03/us-capitol-in-lockdown-reports-shots-fired/

Senior congressional staffers and one eyewitness told Fox News the incident began with a car chase, which came to a stop near the Capitol building. Sources said several police cars were in pursuit. When they boxed in the other vehicle, the driver got out and five or six shots were fired, sources said.

How badly can the truth get skewed on this situation I wonder?

Would like to see the number of shots fired in DC on any given day as a check against this episode.

Whoa whoa whoa, you're suggesting that that could or has happened?!?!

It does not even have to happen.  We had it reported FOR A FACT by ALMOST EVERY MAJOR news outlet that the naval yard guy had an ar-15.  Which he didnt.  No need to even plant one.

Reports are she did not have a gun.

Even for MSM, it is astounding how many versions are being reported, and most are likely wrong.

"Real story".... frustrated Capitol/DC police shoot lost & terrified black soccer mom (who could have thought about legally possessing a gun in another state if she wished)

So I guess now she is an inactive shooter.

Given the 100000 totally made up and wrong versions of the navy yard thing, I have no confidence in anything we hear for the next 2 days.  Maybe after that, even if wrong, at least they will collaborate and get a single story hashed out.

Well there you go, assault car used.

100% truth, she was driving an AWD Infinity.  It was an evil, black four wheel drive assault car.  No one needs 4wd in a car... Ban Inifinity cars now before this happens again!

So she fired or didn't? Seems like the only "active shooter(s)" were the police?

Latest:

Woman driving nuts around capitol in black Infiniti.

They forced her stop once at gunpoint, but she took off again, finally shot her (multiple shots fired).

One officer hurt somehow or another likely by her car itself, or fell or something. One police car damaged running into car or barrier or something.

Got her out of car alive, she later died.

No indication she shot a gun or even had a gun.

Both Houses gave standing ovation for the Capitol Police.

Maybe mostly correct, maybe not.

applause was for the woman taking the media off of them for a little while

Unlike for normal citizens

- their police arrive instantly

- they the have the best insurance for the least money

- they get paid a great salary for 1/3 time work (239 vacation days in 2013)

- automatic salary increases yearly

- they get a great retirement package after only one day in office

- many other perks, to many to list

They are America's French bourgeoisie, the elite privileged class.

Was she wearing a Shemagh?

I'm curious as to why she was so scary. Something had to be scary for her to get shot just for getting out of her car. I understand that she'd been running and all that. Maybe she had something in her hand that was confused for a gun.

Anyone notice how quick they were to say no terrorist threat? I'm wondering if the race of the victim had anything to do with that?
