Recently picked up a used Old Army and I have been trying different powders. Between 3F, Pyrodex P and RS, Goex has done the best according to my chrono. My question is what good loads, tricks, special info, etc, has anyone have for this extremely strong BP pistol?

stuff it flush with fffg...3F  ...ram a 451 ball on top crushing the load,  smear a little grease around the caps and shoot it...you can't break it.

IS this one of those 5.5" barrels or the 7.5" barrel?  I'd love to have one of these!  I think they are the best made BP pistol you can get!!!
