Lever rifle question

Does anyone know the make and model of a Lever Gun that had the loading gate on the side of the butt stock? I seem to remember it being a big bore, and either a Marlin or a Winchester. I just can't seem to remember which it was.

My Winchester Model 94E has a side gate, but top eject. 

 

(ETA - sorry, still early coffee, but perhaps this helps with process of elimination)

loading from a gate in the stock is common for .22 LR, esp older models (pre 1980s at a guess, with most seen being 60s era?).   A less common but not rare variety open in the butt of the stock.    But I am drawing a blank on any big bore versions of this!!

Thanks fellas. I seem to remember a youtube video of Hickok45 shooting a lever gun and loading it through the gate on the butt stock, but I can't find the video.

As I recall (meaning, its probably wrong?) there were a number of antiques in some exticnt calibers that loaded this way, I did not consider those when I posted earlier.... ? 

 

I did look for a few min for a 45-70 lever but did not find a suitable match.  It seems likely enough that someone did this somewhere along the way.   That thing in the video is a beautiful antique, I have no sound so I have no idea what it was before he converted it to something else (nor what he converted it to).

Seems there was an Evans (Evins?) that loaded through the stock, using a proprietary cartridge ... ... maybe late 1800s?  May not be what the OP was thinking of, though.

Found that Evans repeater -- still may not be what the OP remembered: nramuseum.com (or .org -- seems both work -- ), then search for "Evans."

 

Helical cylinder that loads through the stock -- thought I'd seen one, but couldn't remember where, or the name for sure ... chambered for an Evans .44 short and in a newer variation, the Evans .44 Long.  Held from 28 to 34 rounds.  Pretty interesting design, and I guess that's what stuck in the back of my memory ...
