Today with the museum's shut down a group of WWII vet's were blocked from going into the WWII Memorial. Led by Rep. Pallazo. who himself is a vet (actually right now still an Officer in the reserves), led 82 WWII vets and family members through the barricade. Big news here because they were blocked and had to break through the barriers.

Southern Middle Tennessee Honor Flight has a trip to DC scheduled for October 12th.  Tickets bought, meals and bus scheduled, etc.   Meeting Friday to determine next steps.   Music City Honor Flight ceased to operate but this group still continues as long as they can raise the money.    Proud to be going on another flight as a guardian.

That's the response any group should have on DC. It's yours, you paid for it. That memorial is for your brothers and

their service. Go on in! The government can play all the silly games, but if you fought for your country, you deserve

more respect than a barricade. God bless each and every one of them.

As usual, feel bad story is sure to follow the feel good story. According to some bastard at the Parks Service, an Ohio veterans' honor flight group will face arrest if they visit the memorial:

And, as usual, the regime is all about control--not safety.

That's the kind of response you should expect from this administration, and one that should be rebelled against.

I hope they do "arrest" someone for "tresspassing" on closed gubmt property...  The more petty and childish the gubmt looks, the better it educates the citizenty to how sorry they really are... I say:"....Go ahead and gather some of these folks up.... You'll reap a bitter harvest from it...".

I imagine the Park police in DC didn't want anything to do with this.

Not trying to overstate thing's but the truth is that our living WWII veterans are about the most revered members of our society. I have yet to see a a WWII veteran messed with, where it did not cause a major backlash. And justifiably. Our government is made up of pure scum. To attempt to deny these veterans to see the memorial dedicated to them who did what they did goes beyond indecency. But to the progressives, I am sure that fighting tyranny makes them old terrorists and extremests.

Meeting tomorrow for Southern Middle TN Honor Flight which has a flight scheduled for "0 dark thirty" on the 12th.   Not sure we can cancel since 50 tickets were obtained30 days ago to get the best price.   Part of the group is Korean War and a few are Korean and Vietnam so those closures also affect them.                 I'll post the results ofthe meeting.

It really pissed me off to see them putting up gates for a show of the govt. Shutting down. I went to the memorial last year, I saw not one guide, no ticket stampers, no gates. Unbelievable. .. Edited by sL1k
