well my birthday is coming up and one of the things i have received was a lansky "deluxe" sharping kit well i was gonna sharpen my SAK on it but i noticed something the shelf designed to hold small knives wasnt even there on the clamp itself the clamp is also not the quality i expected it was like some type of cheap pot metal or aluminum the stones are very nice a whole better than smiths and the rods seem to be in good shape but so far my luck with lansky aint good

I have the deluxe set and also one of the Lansky 4 rod turnboxes. I use it a lot more than the deluxe sharpening kit. Much faster and easier to set up and take down, and I get just as good if not better results on the turnbox.
