Even in small town Politics, Dems are still dirtbags.

I know that this has nothing to do with TN, but has everything to do with National Politics, even though it is local, the reason is the boldness in cheating the election process and Constitutional process by Democrats. They think they can do anything they want, anywhere now that Obama has trompled the Constitution with the help if his Republican buddies.

I lived in Hattiesburg for 8 years before I moved to Clinton 80 miles north. When Johnny DuPree (A Dem) was elected Mayor, no one could understand how it happened, since he had no support except from the Black Community which is 53% of the population in Hattiesburg, but of 100% of registered voters, only 37% are Democrats. He did it more than once and Conservative local talk show hosts were inundated with HOW? WIth no way to explain it.

Recently Hattiesburg held their Mayoral Election.

After the election, the challenger (An Independent) Ware, lost by I think, 34 votes. The Independent contested the vote. on recounts so many votes were found fraudulent that a Judge threw out the entire election. DuPree's wife had been taking ballots to jails and prisons and having the prisoners vote, the campaign was picking up people, taking them to the polls and then voting for them.

During the first election, the one that was thrown out (Remember Dupree is the Mayor), the ballots were left in City Hall overnight instead of being counted, while in City Hall they were left unsecured, and "amazingly" the City Hall security footage came up missing.

While in Court, the Jury came back. In a written decision jury vote for a new election (or recount, cant recall which one) the jury voted 7-4, in favor of Ware. The Judge then had the Jurors stand up and polled the Jury, the Jury's new vote? 6-5 in favor of Dupree. That was on the first loss by 34 votes. Thats when the Judge threw everything out and decided on a new election. Called a mistrial. The general consensus is that DuPree had somehow threatened the Juror.

Then the State took over. They held an election on Tuesday. The Election Commissioner, apparently a DuPree supporter (I say apparently because I have been told that but dont know first hand) threw Ware, the opposition candidate (I) out of City Hall for something or another. The citizens of Hattiesburg are picketing City Hall. The State is having every single ballot checked including absentee ballots. They are finding and throwing out lots of ballots that are fraudulent. The Election was Tuesday, they still dont have an answer and dont expect to until at least Monday. The ballots in one precinct, which is 2 miles from City Hall took 5 hours to get there. Now everyone is wondering why it took 5 hours to get ballots 2 miles to begin counting.

And you watch DuPree, he sounds just like his hero.

Throwing out votes, how dare they!  Sounds like voter disenfranchisement to me.  Wish there was a way to really convey my sarcasm

Might have had something to do with the woman and her son who went to vote only to find out he had already voted. Did it without even going to the polls.

This might be a big news flash to many political junkies, but most of the assholes at the top (federal level) started at the local level (city, county, then state).

To paraphrase the tree-huggers with whom I have no particular problem.... "Think nationally, act locally"

BTW, Dems are not the only snakes in local politics.  The shenanigans of these East Tennessee republicans will make your blood boil.  ;)

And the main reason we still have a majority in the House and so many GOP state legislatures is because the GOP got better at gerrymandering districts over the last 20 years than the Dems who invented it.

All that's saying is that east Tennesseans learned to fight dirty, like the Dems.

Actually the Democrats didn't invent it, it was Massachusetts Governor Elbridge Gerry in 1812 who belonged to the Democratic-Republican Party. The Democratic-Republican Party was organized by Jefferson and Madison and, after the 1824 elections it split into the Democratic Party and the National Republican Party. At the time it was simply called the Republican Party.

Side trip to the cemetery to pick up absentee ballots.  Everyone has the right to vote you know....

i find it laughable when either party is fingered  by the other for political monkey-business.

Neither can claim taking the high road.

Except the only side who's votes are being thrown out for being unqualified (Fraudulent and in large numbers) are Democrats. The only side who has a spouse taking ballots to the jails to register and have vote felons were Democrats. The only side who is handling the ballots, which were left unsecure, then fell in favor of Democrats, were Democrats only to find out they many were fraudulent. The only side who was voting for other people were Democrats.

I don't find it laughable at all. In fact I find it totally disgusting. And its not just in this particular election. Maybe you can find the video of the guy who voted for Obama 78 times for sandwiches and cigarettes. I don't find that laughable either. Or the numerous people laughing on camera (Including Poll workers) about how they voted for Obama 3, 4 and 7 and 8 times. Another thing I don't find laughable.

I don't find a single thing about usurping the Constitution, negating law abiding citizens votes or committing illegal acts laughable.

Wow,  sorry I struck a nerve.

Cite small instances and you can prove any point. It is easy to cherry pick.   Look at the big picture.  None of them are clean.

it certainly is not a first and not just owned by the Democratic Party.

Oh you dont have to tell me, Im sick of all of them. Its been going on a long time. Problem is that the Dems have done it so openly and prevalently since about 94 on, that they no longer care what we think and the Repubs are close behind. No longer a need to hide any of the Voting irregularities on the Dem side, show me a video of a Republican saying they voted for Romney 4 times because he promised them something. How much illegal voting goes on on the Repub or Conserviate side I do not know, because I personally have not seen them dancing in the streets proclaiming they committed a felony to help get thier Candidate in. OTOH I have seen it plenty with the Liberals.

Mike, make two columns, make one of your columns Democrat
and the other Republican. Go back and tally voter fraud. I'll bet
you find a couple Republican blips, but the mass of fraud has
been on the left.

You can sit there and blame both sides, all day long, and be right,
but, after a while it gets disingenuous. It's too easy to say everything
and everyone is at fault, just to be right, when it is pretty obvious
where the blame lies.
Some of us are trying to deal with some of the pols we have a chance
at dealing with, so we are already blaming them, okay?

Find a problem, deal with it, one problem at a time. No other way
to deal with it.

Yeh, Cruz is dirty as Hell, eh? You did say none of them, right?
It's just as easy to over dramatize.

I will bring it up again, since few remember. There was. program
started by George Soros designed to control elections at the
state level. It was called SOS program, internally, and was designed
to gain control of as many Secretary of State's as possible, since
they are the ones in charge of elections at the state level. It worked
getting that comedian elected to the US Senate, and probably other
seats.
The voter fraud is obvious in places like Chicago, probably many more.
I'm sure, if anyone dug a little bit, they could find it in Nashville or
Memphis without much effort, maybe even Clarksville.

Remember multiple places reporting people trying to vote for Romney
and the vote kept on changing to Obama like some kind of default?
North Carolina and Texas comes to mind.

The Democrat won the election again even though voter fraud showed up all over. Like people going to the polls to find out they already voted. People finding out that voter's used their empty rental properties and homes they actually live in addresses for non existent voters. There is an organization down there that has the voter lists and is going building by building snapping photos and matching vacant lots, empty homes, and non existent addresses with voters. After they are through they will file a federal lawsuit. This is one to watch since this may end up in front of the Supreme Court. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 2 Edited by TankerHC

Good point. If the libertarians would get off their asses and start thinking like that, they would gain traction,

and not get the stigma of extreme stuck to them. They would make better leaders in one or the other parties.

Remember Sundquist? He was from the western portion. That East TN stuff must be contagious.
