A friend's house was burglarized Tues nite near Clarksville.  Known handguns stolen: S&W 57 (.41 mag);  "early" gold anodized Ruger 22/45 Lite with threaded muzzle.  22/45 also has a Volquartsen trigger.

They stole a lot of stuff, but didn't try to move the safes.  There was a 1022 and an 870 also besides ammo, powder, primers, bullets, IPADS, jewelry, cash, etc.

Hope he gets his stuff back. One thing I would ad though for everyone to think about. A cheap motion sensor camera will not prevent theft but would help the police in getting your things back. These things aren't expensive any longer. You can find them on amazon for under 30 bucks. Geeks has a couple that are ir night vision with built in web servers for under 50 buck. Meaning you can watch your "stuff" from anywhere you have web acess. The ones with web servers usually have alarms and while recording will snap stills and alert you and send the pics to your phone immediately. I don't know about anyone else but spending 50 bucks that may help me keep or get my "stuff" back is worth it.

Graycrait, it's nice of you to post your friend's loss on here. Maybe the thieves will try to move the guns for cash, and your friend will be able to get them back. Hope so anyway. We need to bring back the "horse thief" law of the 1800s, and apply it to breaking into a man's (or woman's) home. I hope he get's his stuff back... especially his guns. Like someone else said...odds are it was someone that knew him, or someone that was told what he had in his house.
