Wonder how the one in Knoxville can stay in business as you can get most of the same items cheaper within a 5 - 10 mile radius..

Yeah I stopped by one in KY and they were pretty high on everything.

Now Mt. Juliet residents will have an additional choice when they want overpriced products.....Gander Mt., Reloader's Bench, or Dick's.

You can bet I won't be going there for anything. I can buy everything much cheaper at Academy Sports...........jmho

Yes Academy is cheaper. But when GM opens, I will go at least once. To see the hot girls standing around to make customers think it will always be like that and to put my name in the contest boxes just so the sponser can send me spam emails and not the prize

Rumor has it Cabelas is next, they're supposed to go before the planning commission next month to build a store next to Two River's Ford....  or so a little birdie told me last week.

I grew up in Mt. Juliet and my dad still lives in the same house.  Ironically, I bought my truck from Two Rivers Ford.  It would be awesome if Cabela's opened a store there.  They will need to lower the walleye stuff and increase the stock of bass items, though.  But I reckon I will still go to Gander Mountain - once.

Meh, Gander Mountain not too exciting to me. I like Academy personally. Cabelas was looking at land at Beckwith Rd. 2(or so) years ago always thought that'd be a cool store to have. Be better than BPS anyways.

I like Reloaders Bench they are specialized, have to pay a little more for that but they have things no big box would ever have.
