Ted Cruz in his filibuster against funding Obamacare, just read "Green Eggs and Ham" to the gathered august body of blowhards.  His punchline was perfect:  "I do not like Obamacare with a fox in a box, or with a mouse in the house."  That's putting it on their level.  :rofl:

Yeh, Strom Thurmond, after he ran out of things to say. He was a Republican.  I don't remember when he did it.

Thurmond's filibuster was in 1957, when he was still a Democrat, in opposition to the Civil Rights Act of 1957.
