I am trying to locate a firing range for a 50 caliber Barrett rifle in middle Tennessee.  I have a group of high performing machinist.  The reward for their performance is to fire a Barrett rifle.  I need a place to provide this experience for them.

I have seen a Barret 50 at Waldens in Manchester a few times. But it is only 300 meters.

That was going to be my suggestion unless he needed more space. The Barrett folks do some testing out there as well as some others I have seen with Barrett rifles there.

If he's wanting to rent one, i highly doubt you find a place to rent one at

Place in Summertown rents one...Eagle Eye range. I haven't actually been there yet, they opened earlier this year, but have talked to a few people that have gone. I think its a 500 yard range.

Renting machine guns is equally gratifying too, Nashville Armory can do that, after their first mag dump they'll be giggling like little girls, shooting the 50 I guarantee if all of you are not wearing ear muffs its very unpleasant for everyone within a 100+/- feet and yes you all will flinch...LOL...

There are only a few ranges in TN that will allow 50's
