I think the "09" on that type of tag is for Dept 9 (sporting goods) Wally quit using those green tickets years ago I think, Then agian I I quit working there in 1995 so it may be different.

I don't know about all that but I will attest to the fact that in 2009 that box of ammo was no more than  $14.97

You can bet one thing. You won't find those prices ever again but those were the good old days but if you really want to relate to the good ole days I can remember buying a 50 round box of 22 Lr's for 69 cents and a box of 25      12gauge Shot gun shells for $2.59 in high brass duck loads............ :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

i wish i have gotten a boat load in those day.  but i did not, now i am crying the blues.  somebody is buying it all up and i don't see/hear much 22lr shooting going on a the rifle club.  i hope the price comes down and the persons that buys all the ammo for later resale gets stuck with high price ammo that they can not sell.
