Been posted for some time. Personaly don't see the draw, my sister makes better biscuits and the rest of the food is on par with a Cracker Barrel IMO. It's kind of cool to bring out of state visitors too, but even then there are better places. Places that also aren't posted.

It seems that the new owners have really let the place go from its past, what was once a nice downhome eatery is now basically a tourist trap.

What he said. Other than the name, that place is nothing like what made it famous.

Bet they've lost a lot of HCP customers. Never been and don't care to ever go now.

I haven't eaten there since they posted but they always stay busy so I don't think they care if we come or not.

I went many, many moons ago just because I'd heard it was awesome. It was cool then, but once was enough and I like Cracker Barrel better and don't have to make myself a defenseless victim to eat there. I will gladly let the tourists keep Gunless, I mean Loveless, its C. B. for me boys! Edited by rugerla1

I'd personally rather go to Cracker Barrel. The food's just as good, there's more seating, and they don't prohibit legal carry!

Just for fun, the thread title could also have said "No love at gunless café".

Never been and plan to keep it that way.

As someone who could eat breakfast food every morning and night, you'd think I would have tried Loveless by now.

Cracker Barrel and Waffle House fit the bill pretty good and I don't have disarm, so no sense fixin what ain't broke.

I've been on a 6 week diet (ends on 30th) so I would be in better shape come opening day of deer season. I'm down 26 lbs as of this past Monday. I feel 100% better. I'm going to keep going with it, but Monday night when I get off work, I'm going straight to Cracker Barrel and getting nothing but an order of biscuits and graaaaaavy!!!! Then I'll continue on with my diet, but that will be my reward meal and man, I cannot wait!

There's a loophole if your keen to exploit it.
I swore I'd never go back but.....
I sent my wife in to put us on the list. She asked to sit outside on the patio. I waited outside and when the buzzer went off, she went in got shown to the outside table and I walked over and sat down. The outside ain't posted.
It's certainly NOT in the spirit of the law but I couldn't care less. Edited by Caster

I had a business lunch there yesterday, so i did not have a choice but to eat there. I will say though, their pulled pork is great.
