Does she forfeit all of his war chest? Gratuity to one of the richest members of Congress widow.

 

I wonder if William Proxmire got one. He had the Golden Fleece Award, years ago.

A more appropriate and heartfelt gesture would be to do it like the rest of the country's working class do... take up a donation from co-workers out of their own pockets. I could respect seeing congressmen chipping in from their own wallets, but reaching into mine: unacceptable.
