Let's see if we can organize a meet and shoot for the middle TN folks in September. Please vote on the poll attached to this thread. I am going to stick with what seems to have been working and state that we will once again meet at Owl Hollow Gun Club for this.

If you would like to meet beforehand and have lunch together, please vote on that option as well.

Thanks.

Not that it matters, but the 6th and the 27th are completely out for me and my wife. We already have prior engagements those two Saturdays. But if they work better for everyone else, we hope that everyone will go with the option that makes the most sense for the majority.

Just wanted to throw that out there in case one of those two weekends wins out and then we don't show up. It won't be for lack of desire to do so.

I will not be able to make the 6th or the 13th. The 20th or the 27th will work. I picked the 27th since it is very close to my birthday and I bet I can get a pass on the honey-do-list.

I might try to make this one.

Just a note.. beware of the 25 yard dirt banks that you shoot into from the benches just left of the pistol pits. There is a nest of hornets living in the ground there. I was out there 2 or 3 weeks ago and got stung by one while setting up a target.. then they started swarming into an angry cloud swirling around just outside the dirt bank. You have been warned.

Hiya Cheryl! Elliott here... :D so the next meet do you think you're gonna have your own emp to shoot or should I bring more ammo :D

Even if she doesn't, bring more ammo! :D And the Mosin....Loki would love to get ahold of that.

Sounds like a job for a Mosin-Nagant carbine ;-)

I will inquire of the club to see if anyone has addressed that issue yet. Soaking the berm with kerosene would do the trick.
