House plans to vote on de-funding obamacare

Yes, that's true. I should have clarified that... the cloture vote. However; I have viewed a vote for cloture to be a vote for obamacare since they knew full well that their vote would allow it's passage. I won't cut either one of them any slack on this. I am sorry to admit that I voted for both of them last time. They have both LOST my vote. Joe Carr!!

Well, we will see if the House and Boehner has got the balls to hold the fort. I suspect not.

The media will be beating them down all weekend and obama will come up with some new lies to spew on his bully pulpit.

The main reason Cruz wanted to filibuster the
cloture vote was to keep Reid at bay by
continuing debate without Reid changing
the rules and requiring only 51 votes for
passage after decapitating the Obamacare
language. Maybe the House will just not do
anything. Doubtful because Marsha Blackburn
authored some kind of compromise for the
House to try. It is no better, either.

It doesn't require a change of the rules to vote on actual bill, it's always 51 votes.

It's the cloture thing that takes 3/5.
