I thought conservative parents and activist in the Texas school districts have been closely watching the textbook revisionism the last couple of years and not approving these liberal textbooks!

They have spent the last 15 or so years trying to teach out children to be socialists and sneaking these kind of books it every chance they get. This is nothing new except for the fact they got caught again............

“The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history.”

“He who controls the past controls the future. He who controls the present controls the past.”

And in closing.....

“Power is in tearing human minds to pieces and putting them together again in new shapes of your own choosing.”

As I understand it, this is a primer for testing; not a textbook.  Now before anyone starts replying in anger to tell me it doesn't make any difference let me say that I'm not happy about it either but if it's not an actual "textbook" then let's not call it that.

Perhaps more important is that it pretty well butchered ALL the amendments, not just the 2nd.

On a personal not if I might be allowed my soapbox for a moment, I'm frankly stunned that people even still have their children in public schools at this point.  Even in TEXAS they tend to be nothing but indoctrination stations to turn kids into good little socialists who believe that government always knows best and it makes me fear for the future of the country (not that this is the only reason).

Doesn't this only tell you who is in charge of the education system in this country? They(education system) don't want

our children to learn much more than their indoctrination to their ideology. Wait until the complete Common Core is

complete. That even includes home schoolers and it is right about to happen.

I don't have any kids but if I did I would have no problem telling them to inform the teachers and their friends of something wrong in their text books, or if the teacher tells them something that's wrong. In todays society we may have to tell little Jonny or Jane that their teacher or books may not be correct, as a matter of fact they might be downright lies.

It looks like the short version by someone who wished the founding fathers had said that but what they could not print was this.

2nd Amendment

Every citizen can own and carry firearms and there is nothing anyone can do to stop it. When the time comes that a citizen army is needed then one is immediately available.
