Shooter at DC Navy Yard

I don't know about the VA law... sounds fishy though. I'm sure it will turn into a fully automatic 870 pump by the end of the week... with high capacity "clips".

I'm waiting for a call to ban those shotgun bullet clip extender pipes on 8K70's.

Wow.  Carry on, Sir.

Hey, Lester can roll that stuff off the top. You should sit down and have lunch with him, sometime. He's good! That guy

has forgotten more than I ever learned.

I heard of a .410 one. First 12 gauge one I've seen, though. Cool!

Tragic as this event may have been, think of the carnage there would have been by now, had not DC police been arresting people in possession of random assorted spent brass! Thank goodness they are so vigilant! Edited by Lester Weevils

That won't work Daddy Joe Biden said it must have at least 2 barrels..........

Duct tape and a dowel. Maybe some super glue for good measure.

Mka-1919. Turkish made, AR_15 controls and styling 12-gauge for under $700. I'd tell you where to get them, but I'm getting laid off in December and I still don't have one myself. Me first. Unless you can figure it out for yourself.

Has anyone paid attention to the fact that the NRA has been almost totally silent on this issue. I guess they are sitting back and gearing up for an assault on Second Amendment in a real fashion from someone with any type of clout to speak up. They may also be sitting back watching all the anti-gunners like Fienstein and others make fools of them selves with out the help of the NRA...........jmho

They have standing policy that they don't comment immediately on tragedies like this out of respect for victims.  Same as after Sandy Hook.

This one looks like it will simmer down more into discussion of the vast security check system, mental illness reporting, video games, and etc more than guns, at least once MSNBC and the usual anti-gun congress critters tire of the circle jerk.

Mainly because no nasty AR-15 was used, except in the hands of the good guys. Kinda hard to keep up too much momentum on the gun part of this one when the perp walks in with a 5-7 shot squirrel gun. Heck, we don't even know if he used buckshot. If he did, I guess expect an attack on buckshot and slugs.

Yep. This one won't even generate a credible threat. If it does, I can't wait for the NRA's "Buy a shotgun" video.

The NRA silence is Strategic. They wait for everyone to calm down and let cooler heads prevail. Otherwise, they just get shouted down by stupid, emotional people.
