Should say not newsworthy. Fish and Game has Armed Officers? Who woulda thought?! Bearuea of Land management and the Park Service has Armed Officer's? Again...who woulda thought. Bet its some of those guys I see carrying guns in DC every time I go there, for the last 50 years. The ones that stay outside the mall (Tourist area) in Park Service Uniforms carrying guns.

Bet people didnt know before they were combined with the Capital Police that the Library of Congress had its own PD and Armed Inspectors. Protecting United States History IS an important job. And some of the places those Land management guys have to go, I wouldnt go without being buttoned up in a f;n tank. The pot growers of California take their Farming seriously.

The EPA story, OK. But dont try to salt your article with obvious sheet. Who doesnt know Land Management, Park Service and Fish and Game carry guns? Serious question. IS THERE ANYONE HERE who doesnt know Fish and Game carry guns and have their own ranges too? Bet if the author looked hard enough he might find they even have boolits.

Some people probably do need to be disarmed. Those aint those guys.

The EPA thing is newsworthy to me.  It sounds to me like the "enforcement" going on could have been done with a letter or with a couple of inspectors and local law enforcement, if they thought there would be a confrontation.  Showing up in body armor with an assault force is rediculous.  It is either intimidation or them trying to justify the existence of their tactical gear.  Unless there is some intel otherwise indicating that these miners were armed and hostile, I don't see why they would need sooper dooper assaulters.  Sounds like a bunch of chodes trying to play Delta Force.  If that's what they want to pretend, they should have joined the military.

I think it is put in to their brains to do things like this, in this way.

To go in fully armed, in all the gear to so mass force.

Obama's army, funded and trained just like(or better) the Armed Forces

Right, which is why I said "EPA, OK but".  The writer clearly felt the EPA story would not have much of an impact. (It would, or should have, if it were written correctly), so he decides to add in LEO's that actually DO NEED their weapons. Game wardens come across armed people on a near daily basis around the country. I have read several articles of Game Wardens approaching poachers and being murdered. They meet people with guns all the time and all of those people are not good guys with guns. Was maybe 8 or 9 years ago that I read an article on BLM Agents going into the woods because people had reported to them that they thought a fugitive was camping in a certain area, they found his campsite but not him, he was in a standoff position with his rifle, they never even saw him because he killed 2 or 3 of them. Park Rangers? Lately I have been seeing that Yosemite Bears have acquired a taste for tourist meat. Bears getting hold of tourists is almost a weekly thing on the news up there now, If I had to be in a National Park all day, every day that I worked, I would want to have AT LEAST a shotgun or rifle in my vehicle. There are things all over our National Parks that will eat you Bears, Mountain Lions, Alligators, Birds.
