Long story short, I ended up with this gun after getting screwed on a nice Garand. The stock is cracked where the screw goes thru to hold barrel in place.all parts are there and appear original. Has wear from carry. Any clue on the value and how sought after these are? Any help is appreciated!

Stock can be glued back together. I would like to see some pictures of it. They are quite collectible as are all old Winchesters. Condition is everything when it comes to price.

I found some ammo for you. It isn't as expensive as I would have thought.
